6 MONTHS! Thought it best that we did an update (be it a very quick one) to say where we are after 6 months traveling. We spent 2 weeks in Cambodia (which was amazing) visiting Phnom Penn, the south coast with the very nice Serendipity Beach, and Siem Reap with its temples of Angkor. We'll write abit more about that another day when we have more time and the internet costs abit less than it does here! So, after a few days in Bangkok we went south to the island of Ko Phangan which is on the eas coast of the peninsula. We're staying at a beach called Haad Yuan which is very beautiful. It can only be reached by boat so is nice and secluded. Staying in a wooden hut balanced over the rocks to the side of the beach- with coconut trees all around us, but we can still see the sea from our hammocks on the balcony! We've pretty much just been chilling out for the last week or so, doing very little except swimming in the sea, sitting on the beach and drinking the odd beer or two. This island is famous for its full moon parties, but we've decided not to bother going to it as its not really our kinda scene and so are leaving the island the day before to go back to Bangkok. We'll be flying to Singapore and onto Bali from there. It was very strange watching the aftermath of the London bombings on TV in a bar in Bangkok.... I hope everyone and your relatives and friends are all OK? It was a sad day... made even worse by terrible hangovers! Anyway, gotta go. Incidentally we now have the power again to take digital photos (thanks again for the donation!) so once we reach somewhere with decent net access speed we'll upload some pictures. Honest.
