Hello to everyone from Amsterdam. We made it here safe and sound and had no problems transferring over from our flight into Gatwick from Toronto over to a flight out here. We were both very tired when we got here yesterday evening after having not been able to sleep on the over night flight to Gatwick. Our hotel is lovely apart from 3 flights of the steepest steps you have ever seen in your life! We did manage to have a little look round the immediate area before crashing into bed for an early night. We've spent today ambling around Amsterdam in the rain, which is a refreshing change from being in America and Canada when they were having the hottest weather ever recorded! We decided that the 100 metre long queue outside Anne Frank's house was too long so we are getting up first thing tomorrow to try and beat the crowds. Amsterdam is such a breath of fresh air, especially in comparison the the noise and glare of Las Vegas. Still having a fabulous time.
