Glad you enjoyed Graceland - didn't know you were an Elvis fan actually! Even if you're not, I suppose you can't go to Memphis and not visit Graceland. You've certainly wetted my appetite to go. How much longer have you in the States and where do you go next? Take care, enjoy yourselves but most of all look after yourselves. I'm cruising in the Caribbean in November - in Antigua on 2nd December and a few other places after that. Are you planning to go to the Caribbean at all?

Pauline, Graceland was wicked, have got some pics that we're trying to put up now but it keeps crashing !! Very hot here, made it to Tulum and are staying in a hut on the beach which is good !!

Whoops..technodunce alert. I love this web site, so much more sophisticated than my drunken e-mail updates were. I guess you're in Mexico now amigos. Three key words - vino, cerveza, marlboro blanco. Claire, i've e mailed you some recommendations for this part of your trip but I'm not sure how useful the'll be as my memory is shot and i went some time ago (how long, i am loathe to disclose as this surely makes me feel old) I will try and dig out my guide and check my scribbles tho and will pass on any gems of wisdom. xx p.s If you some across the Rainbow cafe in Antigua (in Guatemala), enjoy and think of me. xxx

I hope you don't mind that Lesley gave me your website address - I was asking her yesterday has she heard from you.

What a brilliant idea to have your own website. It certainly sounds like you are having some adventures and doing some much braver things than I would do! I stopped off at Quebec City and Halifax two years ago when we cruised on the QE2. We loved Quebec City and would go there again. They were having a freak summer then, really hot and we certainly enjoyed walking round there and seeing people in native costumes the day we were there.

Can't wait to hear what you thought about Graceland as I am an avid Elvis fan (showing my age now) and would love to visit it myself.

Looking forward to reading more of your adventures but most of all take care of yourselves and don't take any chances - not that you haven't already done so! Its a trip of a lifetime and so much more to come I'm sure.

We´ve made it to Mexico safely, in Cancun at the moment but will be moving on soon to explore the country properly. No plans for a novel yet Jamie (all I can think of doing right now is lounging around with a margarita)! Photos will be on very soon!
