Not much news here. I had my plaster off, now in a leg brace which as you can imagine is very attractive. Have a MRI scan on the 6th then the ankle specialist the week after ( why whould some one specialise in ankles?) from there it will either be ' you wimp get on with it and it will heal' or ' holy smokin' donkeys we need to operate OPERATE!' ( think 80's advert for the game operation - get the same shrill voice as the mother who has nooooooooooooooo idea her children have this board game coming down the stairs ....................ok ok you get the picture).
Ella is well. Following you aroung the world with her map. Can't quite comprehend you 'popping back' like you did! We had a stand off tonight - she wanted chocolate for pudding - sorry dessert - I gave her mango, to which she 'zipped' her lip, and folded her arms!!!!!!!!!!! Went down the its fruit or nothing - sit there til bedtime - you have a cold and need goodness ( sob and I swore I would never say such things sob ) blah blah blah. Any way I hobbled out to shut the green house ( don't be thinking glass and steel think plastic 20 quid focus interlocking 4 foot tall thing ) and came back to the said mango eaten! It was a tough call and I really REALLY REALLY don't know where she gets this stubborn streak from................ sometimes I just wish she was more like mouseywouldntsaybootoagoose me ( why a goose? they are scarey. Why not wouldn't say boo to a venomous snake. Maybe the RING has the answer ..................)

Hello Claire - I have Emma Williams and Jasmin Rylands at my desk (they take the messages round at the end of the day) and they asked if I had heard from you. We have looked up your site and see that you are now in Christchurch - (I went there in 1999) are you still enjoying the travelling life. Finally caught up with each other... hear you've been trying to get me... have given up on my E-mail and have gone to dads... we're all here marvelling at your lovely photographs... how cool are they, gorgeous tanned travelling woman... Sounds and looks like you truly are having an absolute ball... Still can't believe you landed in one of the biggest world disasters ever...! How did you survive on your own when Claire was back in the U.K... that must have been so wierd for her being back for a brief time and then back out to sunshine...

Hey Mrs Jones and Ms Emma ( I was born in the wrong era )!!!

Photos as usual are amazing. Is jealously one of the seven deadly sins? Especially loved the ones of Hillsong ( is that right?), kinda reminded me of Jabez, only on a bigger scale plus sunshine! Wow Claire, how is it going to be to come home and then go off again? Weird! My geography sucks but Mark Yates is in Brisbane right now, til the end of May, so if you are heading that way let me know.
My news is that I am now in plaster for minimum of 4 weeks! Oh the frustration! And my drinking partner I mean dear friend AllietotallygorgeousDrew has gone off to Spring Harvest! The good news is that my cast is a beautiful purple - I was allowed to choose.................... just like the children!!
Ella has justed started two weeks Easter holidays from school. Feel terribly guilty that I can't take her anywhere ( unless someone takes us ) or really do much with her. She has been really good but I am sure the novelty is rubbing off! Pretty sure its made her realise how much I do for her though! Some of the new habits learnt MUST stay! Oh oh oh and I am rather proud of the fact I haven't succumbed to day time
