Greetings from Bangkok! We arrived safely and have had a lovely few days staying in a friend's gorgeous apartment with some mates from Littlehampton. The flat has amazing views across Bangkok and its own pool, so we've been living it up in style! Yesterday we took a trip down the river and then checked out Pat Pong, famous for it's seedy bars and fake designer merchandise. We managed to stop the guys indulging in the first ;-) and grabbed some bargains instead. Later today we are heading up to Chiang Mai with our mates Merve and Jamie, and from there we'll go over the border into Laos. The four of us plan to travel together through Laos and Vietnam.
