Said a big goodbye to Charlie this morning as we left Cairns. To say we were only supposed to stay together for a couple of days, we havent done too bad for a month! We'll be seeing her again in NZ though no doubt.

After a long wait at the rental company we were finally shown to our new home for the next 6 days, a Hi-Top campervan. Pretty cool! Big enough for a fridge, a sink, cooking hobs, a microwave a seating area and a bed!

We eventually set off on the start of a verrrrrry long journey and by the end of the day when it had gone dark we had managed to cover 600km. Cant wait to have to do the same tomorrow....
