At 4.30 am we got our wake up call on arriving to the airport we said our goodbyes to Claire and Reidy. After a 5 hour flight we landed in LA and went to pick up our hire car - the cheapest one we could find online.

We were told that we could choose ANY car from section 9 which was as expected full of small old cars. We slowly started walking down the row of cars trying to pick out the least embarassing when at the end we saw something stand out. It was a brand new shiny convertible! But this was section 9, surely this ca't be included? We checked the rules - 'ANY car parked in Section 9'. Without wanting to check any further we threw our bags in and set off!

So now in our cool car we headed to Anaheim for the night.

The next day the first place we obviously visited was Holywood and took the usual touristy holiday snaps - chinese theatre, walk of fame stars, Holywood sign. We then bought ourselves a stars homes map and took ourselves round Beverly Hills and Bel-Air to have a nosy at some of the celebrity homes...Nicholas Cage, Elvis, Walt Disney...

To end the night we then spent 2 hours standing in the cold outside the movie premiere for Brad Pitts new film Benjamin Button, hoping to catch a glimpse of a Celeb - We certainly got more than we bargained for when a limo pulled up and Brad and Angelina stepped out walking right up to us! It was chaos with the crowd pushing and shoving to get that perfect photo of Brad! Throughout the whole time there were shouts and screams of 'Brad! Brad! Brad!, I love you Brad!' and then above it all you could make out 1 very loud, very burnley accent shouting 'BRAD YOU'RE WELL FIT!!!'

The following day was spent around Anaheim being lazy. We plan to drive up to San Fran tomorrow.
