Well what can we say, life doesn't get much better than this!!

We arrived in Bangkok yesterday to our hotel - luxury compared to our hotel in Hong Kong!! After catching up with our jet lag we ventured into Bangkok by foot, after realising that we weren't getting anywhere and finally gave into the touts and got a Tuk Tuk, which is the most fantastice but death defying way of travelling - although andy reckons the only way to travel!!! We got across the other side of the city for just 200 baht which is just 1 pound 50. we visited the Grand Palace which was just amazing but unfortunatley the batteries died on both the camcorder and camera so no photos of that!!!

After cooling down at our hotel with a much deserved swim we ventured out into Pat Pong whch is a night market come red light districe - well i'll leave that to your imagination, all i can say is darts and ping pong balls!!!

We then decided to go for a civislied drink and found ourselves having being massaged while sitting at the bar having a beer - foot, back, head and foot massage for only 2 pounds - amazing.

Tomorrow we're heading to The Temple of the Tigers which is situated at the River Kwai, a two hour bus journey from Bangkok.

Keep those messages coming on the message board, its great to receive them. Matt, by the way the pictures of the Gold Fish is from a street in Kowloon, Hong Kong which sells nothing but Gold Fish, very strange but then thats Hong Kong for you!!!
