so sorry to hear about both the flu and the camera charger!
Do you think you'll find one elsewhere? Or that perhaps someone over here should find one for you and ship it?
just a thought..........love, mom

Hi, Claire--Good to see a photo of you in your down jacket! All your winter experience in Fairbanks is paying off, I see.
It sounds like you're doing wonderful things and learning a lot. I hope you can come back to North Star in the summer and share some of it with the young dancers.
Love from Mattie, Sam, Kermit, Shadow, and (oh yes) Mike and me.

Hey Claire. Nice to hear everything goes well and that you're ready to blend into their culture... ;-)
Life in NYC is going on, as it always will be. I myself am traveling to Brussels tomorrow (back healing as I call it)...
Keep us updated
Love,

ClaireBear! I'm so glad that you are journalling your accounts for those of us "across the pond." You're lucky I didn't find this before you left london, else I would have had you at the tower of london taking pictures of their arms and armor collection! I'm glad that you're getting the "immersive experience" in Lithuania; I can't wait to hear all about it when you get home =) We love and miss you, Claire!

It's wonderful that you're taking this trip! I know what you mean about how we (everyone) have gone downhill; look at the rate a twhich we knock down 50-year-old high schools in order to put up a Costco or something. Can we blame the Republicans, please?

I was 21 when I first went to England, which was also the first time I went further away from home (San Jose) than San Diego or Nevada. It was like another planet. My perspective changed forever.
What you say about dance--YES!
Have a great time!
Love,
Meg
