After a week of being in Thailand Ive made it to the beach! We went to Krabi and then took a speedboat out to Bamboo Island and Phi Phi Island. It is very beautiful and is the perfect location just to laze around in the sun. The water is exactly the right temparature where it cools you down but isnt at all cold! (Bit different to S Africa where sea was freezing) There are loads of tourists doing the trips out to these islands though so it does get a bit crow...

It was pretty amazing staying in the rainforest. The little wooden huts were very hot inside but with the water right on your doorstep every hour you could go for a dip. The 2 nights we stayed in the little cuckoo houses all you could hear were the insects and wildlife buzzing in the background but luckily I didnt encounter anything to scary. After travelling 6,000 miles and 12 hours on a plane I arrived in Thailand. I didnt think they would allow me whilst I was waiting to go through immigration as there was a sign saying anyone flying from Africa had to have proof of all the vaccinations listed - some of the ones listed Id not had!! We had an unusual day today around the pool. This guy in the picture and his mates invited me and danielle to help celebrate one of their birthdays around the pool. So at 12pm we were drinking the finest champagne and wine in the afternoon sun in one of Cape Towns top hotels.
