Hi All We are now in Lake Tekapo, middle of the South Island following Paul and Claire's wedding. We were planning to stay in Queenstown and work but we had a minor disaster on the day of the wedding when the alternator on our scoob decided to give up the ghost on the way back from a photo shoot at Mt Cook - just wonderful! The result was $500 to replace it and no money to pay for it so we ended up staying in Tekapo and cleaning for the place where the wedding party stayed to try and cover costs. The lady who ran the place, Zeta, was wonderful and let us stay there as well as paying us! After much deliberation, we have decided not to return to Queenstown but to go back to Christchurch to look for work in the hope of earning more money and saving for the season. As lovely as Tekapo is, I think we'd go crazy once we'd frequented the one or two bars! Onward and upward (we hope)........
