Well hello,

So we are not in Christchurch but we were!

Firstly we stayed with friends of chris's mum (Paula and Martin and there two girls Tabather and Elizabeth) which was brilliant! We were spoilt rotten.. fed loads of homemade food (some how food always tastes better when it is cooked by a mum.. even if its not your own) and given the most compfy bed ever including electric blanket.. it was bliss!

We also were very privaliged to go and see a play.. the theatre i here you all gasp.. oh yes! It was Tabathers school play and it was mavelous.. i havent been to a school play for years.. it was very cool.

We mooched around the city visting the musiums, galleries, gardens and of course drinking the local beer which is again brilliant. I have to say it is pritty chilly here so long johns were probably the first acquisition of this stage of our trip and so far my favoriate! We also took a trip up the Christchurch Gondla on to the Port hills. The views across Canterbury Plains, Banks Peninsula and Lyttelton Harbour where spectacular!

And to Chris's delight we had a day snowboarding at Mt Hutt (i had a good look for Jabba but couldnt see him anywhere). We both picked it back up surprisingly quickly and i only fell over about 10 time which is a personal best! Chris of course just managed to make it look easy whilst looking cool at the same time.. It was sickening to watch!

But i think the most important thing we did in Christchurch was pick up our campa van (i call him snuggles.. he is more macho than he sounds). So we are a self contained adventure waggon!
