So nice to hear from you. I can't believe all the places that you have been and the adventures that you have been having. I am envious. We are both well. We came home in December to find out that Pete's mom was dying, so we flew to NY to be with her. She passed away the day before Christmas, but since the ground is frozen, she won't be buried till this weekend when the ground will be soft. We went to Austria in February with 3 of our kids skiing (Mayrhofen) and had a great time in Vienna as well, but it was cold. I had a total knee replacement 3 weeks ago so I am slowly getting back on my feet. The blooming drugs make one crazy. Don't know how folks do it for kicks. We head to North Carolina in the middle of June for a family vacation with everyone. You will probably be having your vacation in Ireland ? then. When are you coming to the states? We still want to go skiing with you. Stay well and we hope to hear from you again.

So, I see you are in Thailand now. Me- I'm still in my tiny little office defending car accidents- making a lot of money for someone else. I think of you guys often and check in on your website (at least) weekly. You website is my home page and it brings a smile every morning to my face when I log on.

It is general election week this week. I drove past the SDP battlebuses on saturday on the M40 ( I was cruising, looking cool) and could have changed the face of the election if I'd had the right tools with me!!!!

The squash club is squaring up for a major political row with an EGM on May 24th to discuss smoking in the Bar. I suggested we should put "sponsored by Marlboro" on the entrance door. No don't ask ?

Just spent time reading about your recent travels. Glad all is OK with you and you are still enjoying exploring the World. I particularly enjoyed your postcards from Thailand as we were there 15 years ago and obviously some things never change!

After being incommunicado these last few months, and prompted by the pangs of guilt following your e-mail received today (for all of 10 seconds!) thought I'd add a comment or two to the Massage Bird.
Having had a glance through the photo album was struck by the one at the Merlion, always said you Sales guys had broad shoulders (or was that bellys?) but in awe of how you managed to balance that lion on your shoulder and get it to spew water - next thing you'll be suspending yourself in a perspex box over the Thames, although I'm sure there's a few would pay to see that happen!!

Love the description of the climb up Mt Kinabalu - I almost believed I was there again! Hope you two are still having fantastic fun on your travels. I am very envious, particularly as I am now back at work in NZ!

Just a quick message from Holland!! We were thinking of you a lot over the weekend with the formula 1 race in Kuala Lumpur!! We almost felt sorry for you when we heard about the "unbearable heat and humidity" over there....... how unlucky can one get....... NOT!
Anyway, hope you liked the peace and quiet of Malaysia and the clenliness of Singapore, because Thailand is supposed to be somewhat different! Will check your site regularly to stay in touch with you!!

Yes..the return leg was such a poor event it hardly deserves mentioning...never mind there is always next year. Sir Alex had to quietly leave muttering something about a 'young team'...'future potential' ....there is 'always next year'...He could get a job working with you LB's as these sound like the same excuses we get from you..
