29th January - 5th February

After heading back to bangkok for the weekend we stayed in khao san road for the night then headed to Siam square, huge shopping centre called the MBK where the 5th floor is a worldwide food hall! Nom Nom!!! Also went to a VIP cinema to watch meet the parents little fockers, reclining seats, blankets and waiter service!!! But we did have to stand to show our respects to the king throughout a movie demonstrating the kings greatness!!! Also took a trip on the skytrain... Pretty much like the London tube but above all the buildings!!

We got an overnight bus to chiang mai on the 1st, 12hours!! But so worth it! For my birthday we went to a butterfly and orchard farm, trekking through the jungle to a waterfall, whitewater and bamboo rafting, visited a traditional Thai village and rode an elephant!! Ours was called Rotti :) pictures to come! For the evening we went out for dinner to a terrace bar where there was live music and Michael got the guy to sing and dedicate a song to me :*) the whole bar said happy birthday! Then met up with a few guys from the trip in the day and hit the mojitos and Samsun!!! Could do nothing but recover the next day!!! Best birthday ever but I wish you guys could have been here!!

Still in chiang mai now, it's amazing! Planning to go round the night Market tonight and round the temples tomorrow!!

Will be back in Bangkok on the 8th to meet chef poppet!!! Jack we can't wait!!!
