there wasnt a lot to do in alice springs, one day i went to a joey rescue centre which was so cute! i came to alice to do a tour of aryes rock. i did a 3 day tour where we did walks around kings canyon and valley of the winds. we saw the the sunrise and the sunset over uluru and did a base walk around it. you could also climb uluru but the aboriginals there dont like you to - although to be honest i was thankful for the excuse as the climb looked killer!! plus there are no steps and just a handrail about a quater of the way up! on the way back to alice springs we stopped at a camel farm where we had a ride on a camel - not very comfortable! when we got back to alice springs we all met up for a meal and went out - would like to say it was a crazy night out but its not a very happening place - although we did manage to stay out till 5 in the morning!! x x
