Only 12 days after entering the country, finally an entry for New Zealand! After leaving Fiji, we were rested, Mike was tanned (needless to say, I was frazzled) and we were looking forward to some of the famous NZ sunshine that we'd heard so much about from other travellers - so it was a bit of a shock to the system to arrive in Auckland to a very grey, cold day. Well here we go..the quickest blog entry ever!!!! So, we've arrived in Fiji, and as soon as I'm off the plane at Nadi my legs are roasting in my jeans. Its hot! What you'd expect really from a tropical pacific island, but coming from a nippy Australia it was a shock. The insane taxi driver, Jaswant, picked us up and drove through the pitch black (lighting doesn't really exist out here) to the jetty for Robinson Crusoe Island where we planned to stay three days...

Oooh we're very naughty backpackers. It's been so long since either of us has updated this blog thingy, that i'd actually forgotten what our password was - luckily Mike has a better memory than me, or this latest dazzling entry just wouldn't be happening. Its still raining here on the East Coast...its never-ending in fact!
