after a 12hour train journey in which the disco cart was heaving (!) and 2 hour bus ride- (which was standing room only for about an hour!) we finally arrived in Khao Sak National Park. The day we arrived we went tubing down the river which was a good laugh and also vistited the National Park - it was just like trekking all over again! We stayed in a family guest house which was really nice, apart from their little girls...one night we were all having dinner there and they chucked something at us which landed at my feet - it was what looked like a huge lizard - so me hating any sort of bugs screamed and stood on my chair - making everyone else scream....only to find it was a plastic.... How stupid did i feel!!
