Day off today. Found this nest under the sink. A wasp gathers and kills spiders and cocoons them in a mud coffin, in which it will lay its larvae which when hatches eats the spiders and breaks out of the mud cocoon. 42 spiders were in there in total

Commissioned to dig holes under the old 1930 farm house so they could replace the rotting wooden beams with metal ones to keep it standing. Very hard work in a confined space

Back to lime picking today, hot and long days again. If it starts to rain we have to stop picking cos the rain will leave our fingerprints on the fruit (Lemons included)
