Went for a swim in Bitter Spring which has a constant temperature of 32c. We flouted down the stream for About 400m. In total we drove about 600km from Katherine to Tennant Creek, the place where it is not safe to go outside at night due to drunk abos.

Went to a billabong (waterhole) then up to the waterfalls for a swim

Brilliant day, lots of swimming in natural pools with waterfalls (Edith falls) Did a 4km kayak down the Katherine river then stopped to do some rock jumping. In the evening we went to the bowls club to play bowls. We spent the late evening sitting around the pool drinking and chatting

Went to Kakadu national park. We did 3 walks about 2k each. Very hot during the day, got to about 38c. We saw some cave paintings which were 20,000 years old!!! We then went on a river cruise to see the crocs.

Started the tour, went to Litchfield national park, did lots of swimming. Fantastic day!
