Week 5- Vietnam (Da Nang) Day 4 Today we wanted to go and see the lady Buddha which is a very big famous statue in Danang that looks over the whole city and beach. After bargaining with about 3 cab drivers none of which could speak any English so we had to draw pictures to try and show where we wanted to go. Eventually we got there! We had a really long night because our flight was delayed until 7.20am after we had got up at 2am thinking we were departing at 5.20. When we arrived at the airport it wasn't even open! Travelling has made us come to the conclusion that English people are very well mannered! Week 5- Vietnam (HCMC) Day 2 Today was an early start, we were up at 7am ready for another big day. We stocked up on breakfast at our hostel before our guide picked us up at 8am. Week 5- Vietnam (HCMC) Day 1 We rose at 6:30am this morning to go on a day tour to the Mekong Delta despite being on a night bus the night before, tired was a bit of a understatement.
