Hello from Honduras!

We are having a fantastic time! We are really loving Honduras, it's so beautiful and everyone is really friendly! At the moment we have spent the past 4 days in the Bay islands, in particular Utila, which is just off the coast of Honduras. Utila is very well known for its hig quality and low priced diving courses. We arrived with no intentions of diving, as we flt it would take up alot of time and money that we dont have. However we then bumped into Al Fredo! He is a Utila born and bred diving instructor and a very good salesmen- within an hour we had signed up for the PADI open water certification, we had accomodation for 4quid a night and we had met some wicked people! The course was awesome- it consisted of 4days of really hard work and alot of theory. We did two confined water dives at the dock beside our hotel, and two open water dives- which were awesome! The deepest dive took us down 18metres where we saw tons of tropical fish really close up, sting rays,eagle rays, a sea turtle, lobsters, flying fish and loads more! so now we are qualified! hooray! We have two fun dives on Sunday which should be really good. We are really enjoying out time on utila its a stunning island, with lots of really cool people. We have a really nice (and really cheap) hotel with the stunning caribbean sea on our doorstep! jealous yet?! Also have to mention this wicked bar called Treetanic- its a huge bar in a treehouse! it took 12 years to make and is just stunning- will put phots on when i get a chance.

We plan to leave Utila on Monday, so will update again when we have moved on.
