Hello again!

Arrived in Hanoi yesterday afternoon after a short 1.5 hour flight from Hong Kong. I think 3 days was long enough there and I'd seen all I wanted to see, I even had time for Disneyland!

The airport in Hanoi is about 45mins away from the city centre and the countryside I got to see was amazing - full of women in conical hats in the padi fields :) The city itself is beautiful, very green and very packed! If you get a chance have a look at the pictures I've uploaded and they'll give you a tiny idea of these amazing people.

So far I've seen 5 people on a moped (I'm keeping count, that's the record so far), a man with a fridge on a moped and a man with a basket of 10 chickens on a moped. Crossing the road is a sport in itself and is a lot of fun if you just go for it, they just drive round you! If you waited for a gap in the traffic, you'd be there all day!

I can also highly recommend Vietnamese food. So far I've had shrimp noodles and Caramelised pork in honey and chilli, both of which were lovely. I'm going on an overnight boat trip to Halong Bay where I should get to try some more seafood. After that it's an overnight train journey to Hue.

With all of that in mind, I think I'll get an early night!
