16th February – The ‘longest day’ of our lives..... (Denise’s quote, you will see why later). Arrived in Perth at 00.30. Flew through horrendous thunderstorm just south of Singapore, fantastic through the windows though. Had good seats at back of plane, last row. Good flight though and the flight staff were great again. Met another thunderstorm coming over land on Australia, this one effected the plane, rough hour on the plane, landing was rocky too. Imm...

17th Feb – Doing the second job, started work on the laptop. Bought wifi dongle for our access, should have done that last time we were here. Went round Lakeside and Whitfords

15th February – Got up at 7.30 to be ready at the bus stop at 9.15am to finish off using the City Sightseeing bus ticket. Travelled around all the circuit and returned to the hotel to pack. Had to check out by 1pm. Bags in lockup at hotel and we are now at a Aussie bar across the river from the hotel in a quiet area using the wifi to upload as data roaming is expensive here. 14th February – Valentine Day – Boy they celebrate this more than us. Romantic stages set around the city to pose for photos with your loved one, uuuurrrgggghhhh sickening(Ade pleaded for me to stand with him for a picture... NOT!!!). Got up at 10.00 (had to wake Ade up, now that is saying something!) Went out soon after to walk into the city again, stopped off on Unity Street at a Bistro for breakfast / lunch, really lovely and calm. Continued down into the ...

13th February – Arrived at airport @ 07.10. Immigration took a long time, queues queues queues! Got to hotel at 9.30 am ish and had to wait in foyer for 20 mins for room to be ready. Bad time as couldn’t get drink or anything. Went up to room and dumped off bags and cases, then walked into the city via the riverside to get some brunch.
