Ok so I thought that rather than writing lots of separate emails if I keep a log on this I will then have something to look back at for all my trips to Thailand.

So this is what I have been up to so far.

After a nightmare plane journey over here with a massive fuel leak Dee and I actually slept like logs on the plane. Which was great news although there were so many films that we wanted to watch. We then got to the airport and got told that the taxi to khoasan road was gong to be 2 hours (we were like what? Its 30 mins?).What we didn't realize was that we were driving into a torrential storm and awful traffic. We tried to email the D&D as our reservation was only available until 7pm. We got there at 6:50pm just in time 1 20 mins after we had left the airport.

We settled into our room which was ok but nothing great.There wasn't a window but we only needed it for one night. We then went and had a wonder down the khoasan road.Grabbed some Pad Thai and then looked at all the shops. It was great to be back and just how I remembered it. It wasn't as scary this time and I wasn't paranoid about being attacked at every opportunity. We chilled out had some drinks and then went to have a thai massage. Absolute paradise.

We then left early to catch out flight very easy and we got to the airport 2 hours before our flight but just chilled out in the Bangkok airways lounge which has free food and drink, internet, sofas etc…. I had known about it from last time but you woudn't go in otherwise.

We got the boat over to koh phangan where we are now. It is so nice at Palita. Sue the owner recognized me from last time and has upgraded our room to one of the newly refurbished rooms. Gorgeous with a tv and fridget etc….We will probably just keep this now for the rest of our stay as they only gave the upgrade free of charge for three nights.
