Hello All!

As you know, we managed to get tickets to watch the Sumo wrestling in Tokyo last month - on Day 7 out of a two week program which only happens a few times a year!

SAP helped us to purchase the tickets and you had to go and collect them from a "7-11" supermarket, which is the usual way to get tickets for concerts or events in Japan.

The fights only lasted a few minutes each, but the preparation and the "warm-up" was the most fascinating, where each wrestler "psyches" each other out for up tp 4 minutes before the fight or "bout" starts!

The actual tournament runs all day from 8am to 6pm, but the best wrestlers come on towards the end of the afternoon, so we arrived around 4pm and watched the final couple of hours with the top wrestlers...

Great experience... and I even managed to get carried home by one at the end of the day ---- see the photos!
