We were on the road at our usual time, 8am heading to Del Rio for the night. We were fortunate that our route took us back through Big Bend National Park. We loved the sunsets, but the morning haze softened Big Bend's demeanor empowering nature to slowly wake to it's own tempo. The traffic was really light. We made good time getting to Del Rio which was a good thing. The second good thing, Del Rio was a fairly big town. It even had a Walmart! We had to "go in"....

We loaded our clubs and drove the 3 minutes to Black Jack's Crossing Golf Course in Lajitas. This course was designed by Lanny Wadkins, Professional Golfer.
