Cloudy and cool
Sydney – Launceston – Devonport
We left Sydney at 3.45 pm (thanks to Christof & Nadine for the lift to the airport) and caught a flight into Launceston. We managed 2nd row seats which gave us more than expected leg room on our Jetstart flight, on touch down we hired a Koleos Renault which is a small 4WD and quite comfortable. We drove to Devonport to meet up with Dad. He had found a restaurant at the Quality Inn which we went to and had dinner and saw the Tennis finals for the Women Serena Williams v Maria Sharapova. Serina won. The hotel we stayed at was not as expected, however the facilities were adequate, just very small, old and a bit noisy with cars coming and going.
