I thought I'd just write a brief entry about Noosa. Brief, because not only did it pour down whilst I was there, I also only stopped there one night and slept for 11hours of it!
Noosa is a pretty little town, about 2hrs north of Brisbane. It's renowned for being a bit pricey and home to a lot of retired couples/hippies. The town with its little boutique shops and swish restaurants is bordering the Noosa National Park and some beautiful white sandy beaches.
I arrived on Saturday lunch and went on a mammoth walk about the National Park. The coastline is quite rocky but interspersed with these beautiful beaches. The National Park is basically a giant wood, with lots of tall trees and woody/sandy paths. I walked along the coast for an hour or so and onto a beach, where I came across the one guy who decided he wanted it to be a nudest beach for the day, Just my (bad) luck! I then headed through the middle of the town and had a little icecream before going on the long trek back to the hostel.
Nothing much else happened in Noosa - I went to bed really early and caught up on some sleep and the next day I headed to the lookout, which was very pictureesque, but then it started pouring down and I spend the rest of the day dodging the rain until it was time to leave!!
After Noosa, also came a 21hour bus journey - something which does not need blogging!!
