Today I got to explore Château de Versailles, once the largest palace in the world. The grounds are vast and show the level of self indulgence and greed exhibited by Louis XIV. To think that he ordered the building of the Château because "the Louvre wasn't big enough"! Morning Entry:Start as you mean to go on...I had to be awake at 4:30am this morning! (In order to check-out and get down to Dover for our ferry across to Calais). My first full day in London.
