After the helicopter went for lunch at the Shangri-La hotel we were whisked into a private dining room where we had a fabulous meal of dim sum and local delicacies. Quick stop back at the hotel then off to the peak.

What a fantastic day.Jim and Claire had a surprise for us. We were taken to the penninsula hotel where we were taken in a private lift up to the roof top. There was a helicopter waiting for us. A fantastic 45 minute helicopter ride all around Hong Kong harbour and Islands . The views were amazing and the weather was perfect this is such a vibrant and exciting city.

From the peak to a night out in soho- major partying followed my major hangover the next day.

Up the peak on the train this afternoon. It's a finnicula railway which means there is large steel cable attached to two trains So as one train is pulled up the other is pulled down. Great piece of engineering - there was a very nice Chinese guy who stood in a certain part of the train and leaned into the mountain so it looked like a Michael Jackson 45 degree lean- it was surreal! Brilliant views of Hong kong from the top and a nice pint of guiness too.

The Wright brothers would be proud. Just flown on the magnificent Airbus A 380- huge plane , double decker all the way. It just didn't seem possible it could take off it was so big ,which it did by producing the noise equivalent to a quiet washing machine. The beautiful side of mankind's nature.outstanding!
