After arriving in Belfast last night and checking into our hotel at 11pm we were all b*****ed and needed a good rest. We went to sleep around 12:30am and there was a house party two doors down and the music was pumping till past 8am the following morning so we had limited sleep! We woke early to shower and have a hot breakfast at the hostel, I just had toast and supplied my own vegemite to spread on it as they have none here! We then went to a museum which was free and very interesting. The nature section was good and there was also hands on sections on each level of the museum. On the art level we did water colour paintings and Clint and Lauren dressed up, Clint turned his nose up at the hands on activities at first but then enjoyed them the most! We ended up spending two hours there and had to drag ourselves away so we could see other things in Belfast. We walked to an outdoor shopping centre where I bought a new pair of going out thongs for £38 as mine ones are thrashed and the sole has come off the bottom of both of my old thongs! We walked around Belfast to see the sights. We went to the top level of the shopping centre which had a huge glass viewing dome to see Belfast birds eye. We then walked down to the quay where titanic was built, on the way we saw 'The Leaning Clock' which leans four foot off centre and saw a ceramic scuplture of 'The Big Fish' 10 meters long made out of tiled memorabilia of Belfast. We then walked to the cathedral and then went to the movies to see the Hangover 2. After the movie we walked back to our hostel and got dinner from the supermarket along the way, microwaveable spaghetti bolognaise which turned out to be really nice, cheap and healthy, well better then take away. We ate dinner, got ready and went out for a few drinks. We went to a very popular Irish pub called 'The Crown' it still has lights inside that are run on gas and lots of wooden carvings up the walls and all over the roof. It also has booths that you sit and close the door, which makes them totally private and there is a button inside which you press to get service. It was very busy and we were standing in the walk way infront of one of the booth doors, luckily the people were leaving and we were able to jump in and experience it. Later on Clint went to the bar to get drinks, it was very crowded so Lauzi and I decided to play a trick on the people standing outside waiting for a booth. We got up opened the door and Lauren walked out as if we were leaving and I started to put my jacket on as if I was leaving too, people were getting anxious and waiting for us to leave but then we just walked back into our booth and shut the door and killed ourselves with laughter. Next we moved on to Thompson's (night club where they play house music) it wasn't busy so we got a stamp and went back later, in the meantime we went to a really pretty bar called 'am pm' it had flowers and vines up the wall and on the roof, we stayed for a few drinks then went back to Thompson's to end the night!
