First a big thank you to everyone for the amazing send-off.It meant a great deal to see so many of you at Port Edgar to 'wave' us off.True to form we had not even left Port Edgar when we had a visit from the customs. Anne had a very hard time explaining that the cigarettes were all for personal use.
The crossing was strange- the first 18 hours rocking side to side with the wind right behind us.The wind then died completely and we had to motor.Even cooked real food and ate at the table going round Rattray Head!
A brass band was waiting for us at the sea lock at Inverness. OK they were Norwegian, but played for us anyway!
Have moved up to Dochgarroch today, a pleasant wee trip.Have fed ducks - now fishing.

Had a great time coming through the canal. Now at top of Neptune's ladder and preparing to leave through sea lock on Sunday.
Fort Augustus, as much fun as ever.Good night in the Bothy with Davy the guest artist.
Decided to anchor in a wee bay on Loch Lochy last night. At 11.00pm the mist settled half way down the mountains and with absolutely no wind, the boat seemed to be suspended in space.Completely silent night, in fact had to hide the clock - tick too loud.
