We arrived in Coffs Harbour and parked up at the surf club. the weather was not great so we spent the next day in Gloria Jeans (coffee shop) using their electricity to charge the laptop and cameras/phones!

So after two cloudy days we headed for Lennox Head via the BIg Shrimp! apparently OZ have 150 big things and we hope to see alot on our journey. We arrived late afternoon, just in time too see the dolphins from the beach. there was so many dolphins.

next was our weekend in Byron; we treated ourselves to a hostel, hot showers and a laundry day! we stayed at Nomads right in the centre near the beach. the hostel had a hot tub so when it rained on saturday we nursed our hangovers in the hot tub! On Sunday we got up at 5am to go up the lighthouse to see sun rise and possibly whales. No whales and no sun rise as it was cloudy..... back to bed for a few hours then on the road again for NImbin.

Nimbin is a hippy dope town! it consists of one street with a Museum and Hemp embassy. in NImbin is the BIg Joint; shrimp, banana and joint CHECK! We parked at the YHA in Nimbin as the local council prohibit over night camping in car parks (but not weed!!!)

Tuesday we headed for Sufers and too visit Andrew and Saroeun. obviously we had too stop at the border signs welcoming us into Queensland. Why did it rain at Surfers Paradise? rob and andy did go in the sea thu, the waves were massive. On the 1st night andrew cooked us bolognaise so on the 2nd night whilst I went to ZUMBA with Saroeun rob cooked everyone red thai pumpkin curry YUMMY. ZUMBA was fun :-) the next day we wen to WB Movie World; it was sunny but not too hot, perfect for theme parks. we spent all days on the rides and seeing a few shows; then watched the parade in the evening. That night we managed to find a car park with a hot water urn and power points. In the morning i got talking to the toilet cleaner and he gave me this key thing so we could get water from taps. what the local councils do is remove the tops of the taps so people can not leave them on and waste it etc etc.

On Friday we headed for Brisbane. capital of QLD.
