9 weeks 3 days til Christmas!

Hello - yes it's me again. It's been a while since I last posted anything (see 4th April) as I've been pacing myself, didn't want to peak too early. Well, nearly time for us to come and rescue you from the clutches of those evil Aussies - quite how you haven't managed to escape yet is beyond me. Robin, you'll be please to know your dad's fixed the headphones he's sending out for you. It's taken a while to find a plaster that was big enough to hold them together, but they seem to be holding now. Still, you'll stand out in the crowd so there's little chance of us losing you again ;) Well, see you in a few weeks...N.

Hello you two! Just thought I would leave a message to say hi as I've not been on here for a while. Hope you are still having a great time. We have a busy few weeks planned over here as we have to say farewell to our dear friend Alix and her dear husband Ben. Life won't be the same without them. Lindsay - do you remember going round MacD's in the boot of her Polo? Ahhh, those were the days. Anyway, hope you two are still enjoying yourselves. Allo! Me again. I can't send/receive e-mails from work otherwise I would have sent one - when the computer at home works long enough to send one I will! So this will have to do for now. Well, nothing much has happened lately to update you on. The girlies went out the other night, that was fun. I knocked over two drinks in three days at work the other week and thought of you! They went right over the computer and a mountain of files and paperwork! Oh yeah, I work in a surveyors' office by the way. It's been really good working there and it's not bad money - but I finish 1st Oct.
I'm already packed for Texas but there's so much I want to take that I just can't. Everything that's still unpacked is going to be shipped in 6-8 months time when hopefully we'll have a house. I tried getting Max in my suitcase but my mum discovered him. Oh, we have a new doggie now too! Her name's Becky and she's another Westie. We were looking after her for a few months while her elderly owner was ill but we were asked to keep her for good because she's so lively it just wasn't fair on her to be with an old lady that couldn't walk her.
We were thinking of setting up an Off Exploring site ourselves - I believe you get money if we do don't you? Have a Happy Meal on us ;o) I know we're not doing that much exploring but I can use it to keep everyone updated on how fat I'm going to get! I'll be Monica from Friends in reverse!
Well, I guess I should get going as this is supposed to be a message board, not an e-book! I hope this finds you well and I hope you're having lots and lots of fun! I'd imagine it will be really weird coming back home again - and cold! Wish I could see you before I go but you'll always be welcome in Texas. Hi again! Well we have done it at last! We shall be leaving for New Zealand very soon! A bit complicated but we have had to defer our residency application until February but we have been granted work visa so that we can still move to NZ and work in the mean time!!! YIPEEEEEE!!!!!! :O)

Dear Lindsay and Rob,It has taken me 8 months to contact you via my laptop,When you are as old as me ,things work slower.Any way ,the up date is I am still at t/wood,and when I go home at night at 1930hrs its dark. even worse in the morning at 0615 its still dark,This leads me on to say winter is around the corner.Therfore I hope you are now planning to return in spring 2005 when it is warmer.When you get up toread this next day I willbe thinking of you both, Look after each other ...
