We originally planned to stay for only 2nights but we ended up staying for a week, the weather was beautiful it was so hot with most day's not having a cloud in the sky!!! so we made the most of it either by relaxing by the pool or chilling down the beach playing volleyball or just messing about in the sea, we even did a photoshoot for the hostel, well they just wanted us to mess around in the pool so they could get some photos to put on the website!! I think we had for BBq's this week, thought we'd take advantage of the BBQ. We are now travelling in a group of 5 people, Craig is from Wolverampton, Carly is from Southampton and Lotte is from holland we met craig in hostel in sydney and lotte on the surf camp and carly is from uni with matthew, we also had a tour of a place called Nimbin which is basically a Hippie Village very strange place but deffinately worth a look!! Byron was a really nice place definately recommend it to anyone else heading out here!!!!

After byron Matt, Craig and Myself went to a place called Coolangatta to go and do some deep sea fishin, it was a much bigger place than we thought!! we imagined a little fishing village but that it was not lol!! we stayed in the YHA which was right next to an airport there were a few strange people staying in this hostel, Due to bad weather out at sea we were not able to go deep sea fishing so we decided to do the next best thing and go and have Fish & Chips at the pier!!! it was nice and quiet because the girls were not with us, I (Andrew) also took advantage of the gym that was just around the corner the one morning as the other two left me as they got some cash in hand work moving some furniture, I loved the peace and quiet!!!!! It's starting to get hotter now... We were heading up to Surfers Paradise to meet the girls next!!!!!
