Well this isn’t quite the start to our holiday that we envisaged. We are currently sitting on the plane, on the tarmac at Heathrow. We were told that there would be a half hour delay (now passed) and no sign of anything happening. Except a child crying two rows in front. Oh joy! To cap it all the screens have all gone blank so we can’t even watch a film to pass the time. (Update: the screens are back!)

We could be some time I fear!

In the end we took off an hour late. Never did understand what they were trying to fix! The entertainment system possibly?

Oh and the meal was remarkably good - although thought it best to give the curry a miss!!
