Hello you two. How are you boyh? Well thats a stupid question really, because i just read your e-mail and i know you are both fine. Anyhoo, it all sounds very exciting and yes, i am very very jealous.
Things here are going along as they normally do i guess. We are all settled in our aprtment and i now understand the feeling that you guys had when you first achieve the purchase. Damn good feeling. Jules is going well. She started at a new school this year, its just down the road from our place so thats an even bigger bonus.
Footys back to taunt us all. Pies? I have no idea what will happen. Carlton? The same. Cricket is obviously winding up. Finals to be played on the 5th March.
Hollow Bullet has had her three runs in Melbourne for a 1st and two 2nds. She is off to Sydney this week to tackle three Group 1 races. Fingers crossed. I am heading up there for her 'Grand Final' which is the AJC Oaks on the 30th March. Go The Bullet. Allis well with the family and as far as i know all is well with our friends. Ffletcher's 1st b'day on the 6th March, so i guess we will get some goss there.
Anyway guys, take care and safe journeys. Lots of love and luck,
Pete and Jules.
P.S. Love this idea. Very clever. Top photos.
Bye.
Bye Bye.
Mouse & Bec
Not to be out done by BS and Sam, I thought I would post a message on behalf of the Tallacks! Having said that there is not much to report as Mouse caught up with you both on the phone yesterday! We have had a very enjoyable couple of weekends, heading from beach house to beach house and enjoying some of the "summer" weather. While we had beautiful weather for our Sorrento weekend and we had some nice weather when Matt and I headed to Inverloch for a break over Australia Day, of late the weather hasn't been flash. I am sure you have heard about the massive storm last week, that Matt and I managed to sleep right through! It wasnt until the next morning that I was driving to work and couldn't believe the power lines that were dangling everywhere and the tree branches all over the road, not to mention the horrific traffic! Mouse always says sex is like getting an extra 2 hours sleep, but I don't think it is meant to put you in a "coma"!!!!!
BG forgot to mention the highlight of sorrento, where I fed their son a beer bottle top. Poor James, he was munching away when I had him on my knee and his Dad said "I think James is eating something" to which I said "Nah, I've been holding him for the last 5 minutes and he has put anything in his mouth", we both then looked at him and realised he was actually chewing away. We then extracted a beer bottle top from his mouth and I went into severe decline about never having kids because I am going to be the worst Mum in the world!
Mouse and I have gone into decline about the footy season, while we were looking forward to a much improved season we are now rethinking our chances as Bucky did his hamstring in the first 5 minutes of our 1st practice match on Friday. Yep great start! And I am even more distraught as Travis Cloke was also injured! Not a good start for the Pies, but it's only early days yet... However I must admit I do have a new love ... someone who doesn't wear black and white but I love him anyway ... Michael Clark ... or as I like to call him "Pup" ... he rocks my world and I did spent the first D/N in Melbourne perving on him through the bioculars for the entire game!
Anyway love your website - your photos look amazing! Take care of yourselves, we miss you heaps.
Love Bec and Matt.

BG and Sam
Hi Guys,
Well well, your own website, very tech savy. The photos look fantastic and both Sam and I are jealous! We had a good weekend down at Sorrento with Bec and Mouse, Anna, Matt and Jessie, and Macca. Mouse and I rode to Sorrento which took about 4 hours on the Friday night we got down there at about 7:45pm (left work early) Sore bums all round. We ended up drinking and carrying on until about 4am on the Friday night which would have been okay if my son James didn't get up at 6:30am. Not his fault that is his normal routine, just Dad being a little silly with the boys meant he had to pay the next morning. Oh the joys of parenthood! The weather has been fantastic, we ended up playing golf on the Saturday afternoon and hired carts to do so, surely the only way to play golf. Matty was the winner on the day, we then stopped off at the local pubtab in Rye on the way home so Matty good get his money on a few sure things that were racing that night. Funny enough the sure things lost! The Saturday night was a little more subdued everyone was tired from the night before and we ended up playing UNO till about midnight and then went to bed. On the Sunday morning we took the kids down to the front beach at Sorrento and had a sunbake and a swim. The food all weekend was superb!!! Sam had organised each couple to prepare either the breakfast, lunch or tea with macca supplying all nibbles so in true fashion everyone tried to outdo each other and we all felt like fat pigs. We had pancakes, fondue, chips, dips, good old aussie BBQ, quiches, donuts, bread rolls, etc etc, more food then any of us needed.
Other local news... Emma Gersh is out of hospital and back at home with the family which is fantastic news. She is still having therapy 3 times a week for her speech and mobility but it is a step in the right direction. It was Emmas 30th on Monday. Not much else to tell at the moment, Sams ballet enrolments are going well looks like the school will at least double the numbers from last year. Her first class starts this Saturday which will be good. Sam and I have been getting hooked on the Aus Open, Lleyton won last night in 5 sets 10-8 in the last so that has kept us up late at night. Alicia has been doing really well and is exciting to watch unfortunately she lost to Davenport yesterday but put up a great fight. Ok that's all from the Grant clan for now.
