7/13/12. Today we took the girls to the Rock River to run and play. I think we finally wore them out! I will post the pictures once I can. We also went on the Channel Cat water taxi to Davenport Iowa. We visted the Village of East Davenport Landing. It was interesting. Well, we arrived in Rock Island at the KOA on 7/18/2012. I haven't been able to post anything because the internet access is horrible. But when we arrived Sally and Mike came to say hi we were so happy to see them! We discussed doing things together after the wedding. We went to the pool almost daily. It was HOT here. We're talking record temps. It was over 103 for a few days. So mostly we walked the dogs at the dog park and went to the pool then ate out....

We arrived at the Down Under RV Resort in Turney, MO. We were pretty excited to stay here. They have rental boats and fishing and all kinds of fun stuff. Well it didn't work that way. We parked on a very uneven site. It was just for one night but we ended up sleeping with our feet in the air. We didn't take any pictures because we did not enjoy it. But that part is over. We are on our way to Rock Island, IL!!!!

Well we are at the Spring Lake RV Resort. It's really nice. I'm a little surprised. I thought we were somewhere to rent boats and stuff and I was wrong. This place is full of lakes and ponds for FISHING!!! And you don't need a license to fish. Finally I'll get to use my pink rod and reel again and maybe I'll catch something this time! Well we have arrived at the Spring Lake RV resort in Halstead, KS. On our way here we stopped at the yellow brick road and saw Dorothy's house and the land of oz. We didn't get to go on the tour because we were on our way to Spring Lake but we'll do that next time. We did want want to stop at the Dalton Gang hideout but there was something going on there today and we have a trailer with 3 dogs and can't leave it parked without airconditioning for the dogs. S...
