Final day in our home in good old Brid! Bit of a strange day, got up quite early because we still had loads to do, we still needed to pack our bags to pack the car, we had a trip to the tip to do and the rooms hadn't been cleaned yet!
It had taken a little while to get here though, as I managed to get a dose of tonsillitis which lasted for 5 days. It was the worst case of it I have ever had but maybe it was the stress that brought it on. Anyway this slowed things right down as I was completely useless for at least 3 full days while I should have been packing the house.

We still managed it though and all of our possessions apart from the ones which we may need are now safely stored in the loft of our house.

Kim and Jam moved in today too so we had a cross over, we took our things to the car from the front door with everything we think we may need for the next year or so and they were bringing in their things in the back door.

Somehow the house hadn't felt like our home for a couple of days already and moving out today didn't seem all that bad.

Having friends rent our house though makes things so much easier as we know they will look after it, and will put up with us being a bit slow at the bill changing over and not quite being out on time, as our 'to do' list is enormous!!

We left Bridlington for London at around 3.00pm exhausted but excited!
