So there I am, travelling 2000km away from the city and hoping I will get the job I been waiting for! Hey, listen to that ...
My mate who I was travelling with, dropped me off at the station. The guy who runs the station didn't know I arrived cos as I said earlier I dropped my phone so I couldn't call him.
First of all I sent him my resume a week before my road trip just to give him time to decide if I'm suitable for this job. I didn't hear nothing back from him all this week I was still in Williams so I called him when I was already on the road. He said his been flat out busy and haven't had chance to look at my resume but as soon as he gets free time he will. I did tell him that I'm on my way so please let me know asap:)
Anyway after few days, still no phone call so on Tuesday afternoon I arrived at the station. I saw one guy outside so I went to ask if Mark Bettini is around. He said Mark is mustering at the moment but he will be back by 6pm. I couldn't wait that long cos my mate Margus wanted to go so the guy on the station tried to call Mark to find out if I've got a job? The answer was Yes B, you've got a job, which made me smile:)
I said Goodbye to Margus and had a quick look around the station. After 12pm all the workers came to have a lunch so I had a chance to meet them.
When they finished lunch I was asked to go and see how they marking, tagging and dehorning weaners. I thought cos I just arrived I can watch what they are doing and probably after few days I can give it a go myself but heyyyy... girl called Jess handed me tagging and marking gun and said! .. Here you go B, don't you worry it's easy!!!
Anyway I did quite well;) When we finished 6pm my finger were covered with blisters and face covered with cattle blood and dust.
Next day I had to wake up at 5.30 am to do the same thing til dawn. Thursday I managed to do a bit of horse riding. Me, Irish girl Leah, Williams boy Andy, Aussie girl Jess and Mark Bettinis wife Naerelle had to take all the weaners we've marked and tagged about an hour away from the station. It was good fun ;) When we finished our day I had a chance to go to town with others. Closest town is Port Hedland which is 100km from the station.
Continues very soon ...

Fabio Hi, just a question, do you have an email address for this station? Thanks
