Well we arrived safely with no delays and have been checking out the main sights in Moscow. Our hotel room is on the 10th floor over looking a horse track so we've got a great views of the chariot races.

We've been to the Red Square and The Kremlin and spent today in a park at some kind of fair, the paper said it was gonna be an ice cream fair, but it turns out that was last weeks fair. Oh well.

Things we've noticed are that there is a reason why there are no Russian comedians on the comedy circuit..........most of them have smile paralysis! It's amazing when you do manage to get a receptionist to crack a smile, but they are few and far between.

Also Kim is loving the Russian fashion, something I hadn't really picked up on.

Tomorrow we board our train for 36hrs, for the first leg to Beijing,lets hope we get good roomies. Off to get some beers etc for the trip.

Fact: There are 11 time zones in Russia
