This is our last morning in Las Vegas. We have had a very busy time.

After arriving here late on Wednesday, we set off on Thursday morning to visit the Grand Canyon,stopping on the way at the Hover Dam. We arrived at Williams, Arizona late afternoon. On Friday we went by train up to the South Rim of the Canyon. Unfortunately it was raining and rather cloudy but we still saw some spectular views. We returned to Las Vegas on Saturday and have spent the last couple of days sight seeing around this area.

We have been around 10 casinos/hotels and last night went to see Mama Mia at the Mandalay Palace Hotel - fantastic show. We also have been to the Valley of Fire and to Thunderbird Museum (like our Red Arrows). We saw the planes but they were not flying, unfortunately.

We are off this afternoon to fly to New Zealand, so our next report will be from there.
