To day weare at Finley- a small town in the Riverina area. It is the centre for the Mulwalairigation canal which is now75 miles in length. We are at the Finley Lakeside caravan Park. It is really quite and peacefull and the lake is about 20 metres away. It is a lovely lake and we have walked around it a couple of times. (it is about 2 kms around) The lake has lovely weeping willows all around. The caravan park is old but very cleaner and the owner is a very friendly lady. definatley one to remember next time we are back this way and worth recommending.
Monday night we stayed at Moree showgrounds and there was a storm- not much rain but plenty of wind.
Tuesday night we found this great place. We saw a sign 'Pilliga Pottery and campsite' so followed the signs way out in the bush to this amazing pottery. The pottery was beautiful and there was so much of it. It was a nice camp and another to remember when down this way. The photo is of a dynasor made from a tree trunk. Must try this a home withh all our fallen trees!
Wednesday night we spent at Goobang National Park. We were the only campers there so again very quite.
Off to Seaforth tomorrow. Love to all
