We've spent some relaxing days at the Dane County campground. Not much to see and do in Madison, they don't even have a city tour. However Wis Dels just north from here is a great family destination. We did have some good food at the taverns. I really loved the taverns, the ambiance was so inviting and you felt like part of the community. Bob had some great dark beer.

We had a crazy city tour. The guide drove crazy, not well informed but the saving grace was the Beer Brewery tour. Bob got to drink all the beer he wanted. I tried the root beer and it was awful. It was a combination of ginger ale, cream soda and a dab of root beer. The town had so many old buildings and so many architecture styles. Loved the river down the middle of town like Chicago. We loved the pub foods.

Loved the old homes and architecture in the Twin Cities. Our tour was of beautiful scenery, so many lakes and parks. There are parks every 4 to 6 blocks of every downtown residence, just beautiful. We had great food and used the Diners Drive ins and Dives app. We had beer braised beef from Busters at 28 th street, melt in your mouth pork from Northbound Smoke House and Jewish food from Kramarczuk Sausage deli.

It's amazing and so smart for a city to build around a beautiful waterfall. Other than the falls there isn't much else here in Sioux Falls.

We stayed at Cedar Shore Resort. It was very clean, peaceful and only 4 miles off 90.
