Hello everyone, sorry we have been a bit slack at updating the site but we are very busy picking grapes!!! Yes we have resorted to fruit picking to fund our travels!! We are in a little town called Mildura just on the border between Victoria and New South Wales! It's a very strange place where people don't quite look right and never have a full set of nashers!!! Anyway, we've stuck it for a week now and plan on attempting one more before we head off to Adelaide and then up to Ayers rock. We will try and update the site soon Promise! Love Neil and Jay

Hi Guys
Please only listen to dads football results. As any pompey supporters are still in a state of shock after witnessing such a devasting 5. 1 defeat. By the world champions we think Davsey has been drinking too much!!!!. We have just seen the grand prix, could not see you at corner 9 to many people!!!! love mum & dadx
Davsy
Hello boys. Just in case you're not keeping up with the football, Pompey destroted Arsenal 5-1 yesterday. We hit the bar after 70 seconds amd Yakubu scored a hatrick before half time. After Gary Linekar did nothing except talk about Pompey at half time we went on to score two more after the break (Linvoy and Kevin Harper the scorers). The two second half scorers then got a standing ovation from the travellng Arsenal fans when they were substituted to save them for an important reserve game against Ackrington Stanley at west leigh park on tuesday night. Arsenal then got a much deserved consolation goal in the 89th minute. A clearence from shaka hit Henry in the face and trickled in...... The lucky french basted!! Nice to hear you're still enjoying yourselves boys. Keep it up lads!! Rob

Hey guys. Glad to hear you are both still having fun.
If you are both looking for jobs in Melbourne you could get in touch with my sister. A lot of my family live in that area so they may be able to sort something out for you.
If you are interested let me know and I will give you their number. xxx
Neil
hello the hockett house!!! Nice to hear from you!! I am feeling better now thanks after every possible potion!! We're still in Oz!! We changed our flights to later in the year to New Zealand. Melbourne is cold compared to Surfers but nothing compared to the cold weather at home i bet!!! I preferred Sydney as a city but the best place has to be the whitsundays so far!! Hope you are all well and good, love Neil

Hi there Neil. We've heard through the jungle drums that you've not been well. Sorry to hear that. Hope you're on the mend now. Haven't spoken to Mum or Dad yet but heard some of their news via Nan. Guess everyone had a great time. What's your favourite city so far, Gary want's to know? According to the red dot on map you're still in Aussie land but our itinerary we were given suggests you should be in N.Z. by now, what the hell is happening?! What are you missing most about home? Not the cold weather that's for sure. Must go, Midsommer Murders is about to start - riveting! Take care. Lots of Love, Lynda, keith and gang xxxxx

Hello all,
Yes we are now in Melbourne and all is good. Travelled down with the dutchies we met in surfers Paradise. We are going to start to look for a job on Monday and then try and find an appartment for all of us. Sad to leave Surfers because it did fell like Paradise! Melbourne is a little colder (in the 20's) so still can't complain. As Neil says it is Grand Prix week next week, so we are all really looking forward to it. Our hostel is only a 5 minute walk to the circuit which is good. Thanks to everyone for your messages, its always nice to hear what is happening back home, keep them coming, take care. Jay
