Yesterday was a travel day. I travelled 1176km's on a bullet train. Subway systems outside of Tokyo are much easier to operate. Funny story, the fellow I stayed with in the hostel is from Edmonton. Got my Japan Rail pass today which should make traveling cheaper. It only took 4 dollars and getting lot twice to find the place to redeem my pass.I got to see the Tsukiji fish market. Unbelievable how many different types of fish there were. The smell was something else! Luckily I've been fishing lots with family to know what it's like.Went to the Nissan dealer to see an Eco friendly car. It sounded a lot like the electric car that didn't work in north America.....

Safe and sound in Tokyo. People have been very friendly so far. The transit unit was pretty crazy. Off to bed early, ready for a good day tomorrow. Hey y'all! This is my first blog. I will try to use it as much as I can and update it throughout my trip. It's less than a week now before I leave. I still have a few things left to do before I leave but the list is getting smaller. I don't know if I'm more excited or nervous now.
