Thank you everyone in Bristol for my cards and chocolate. I was out last night and didn{t get home till 5ish but had to get up bright and early to get to the post office and pick up my letters. (Easter weekend in a very catholic country so everything closes!!) But i was as happy and skippy as the easter bunny when i saw all that yummy chocolate - exacly what I need right now.
Nina
Hello sweet pea, just a little catch up from the Bristol fan base. Things here are quiet, probably because Kim is out of the office. I think all the stress of these exams has finally caught up with her and she has come down with a nasty cold. We certainly intend to celebrate the fact that she has finished her exams when we go out for a boozy thursday next week, so watch this space for gossip, sauce and tittle tattle.
Jon has definitely got himself set up in his new desk he and Kim really are like Jack and Karen now, I expect to walk in at any moment to see them flinging back the martini's.
Photos really look fantastic, I hope you managed to pick up your food parcel OK. Take care loads of love Nina xx

Hi Gils
Good to see your cocktail was 5 times the size of Brett's!!! Obviously travelling is thirsty work. No real news at Base Camp Bristol. Jon organised another boozy Thurs but I abstained - don't worry, I'm not off the sauce I was revising for my exmas. The good news is that I've finished!!! Results in 6 weeks time. You'll probbaly hear the champagne corks in America if the news is good.
Jon is proving to be a very satisfactory desk buddy. I can't recommend him enough. He's settling in just fine ( I think I saw a pair of slippers under his desk yesterday!). Nina and I both have colds and so look like Matheau and Lemon in Grumpy Old Men. We even had to seek comfort in flapjack and custard today. Lasagne has only appeared once on the menu since you left you'll be glad to know. Jean still plates it up fo you - not sure wht it's going to look like when you get back.
Easter is fast approaching and Nina can almost smell the roast chicken. She can talk of nothing else. Your photos look great and I'm sure we are thinking of you far more than you're thinking of us. Paul and Ian are in Cyprus doing a danger sport thing at the moment (who'd have guessed they were in their mid 30's).
Lots of love and hugs Kim xxx

Happy Birthday to you
Is it too early in the day for a birthday drink or too? Are there baking facilities on the truck for birthday cakes and shortbread? Photos look great and I'm glad the oils are proving useful. I tried to give up the 9am bus for lent but I'm afraid I have been tempted back. You won't recognise Nina when you get back. She growing her hair and wearing kaftans! I'm starting to worry. Love Kim xxxx
