Phnom Penh is a beautiful city, putting aside its recent brutal history. The Royal Palace remained in good shape after the Khmer Rouge took over, and the silver pagoda next to the palace was really beautiful. This buddha is right in front of the main pagoda, and inside, the entire sanctuary is lined with a silver floor, ancient statues, and one statue studded with hundreds of diamonds.
