The Australia Zoo has been in Steve Irwin's family since the early 1970's. He took it over about ten years ago, and it may as well be called Steve Irwin's zoo. It was a little sad to see his picture everywhere, but it is also a lasting memorial to him. Behind the Crocodile Colliseum, there was a makeshift memorial still on display.
