Due to the heavy rains the night before and the morning of our kayak trip, sometime we hugged the shore to make paddling a little easier. Bev is in mid-stroke here while I took this shot. Obviously, I'm not paddling, but I had my legs up and was eating a granola bar while the little engine that could was taking us back home.
